Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog about German PoWs in Canada during the Second World War! I hope to share some of my research and findings about Canadian internment camps and labour projects that operated coast to coast from 1940 to 1947.

As for me, I am a first year PhD candidate at the Western University in London, Ontario. Originally from rural Manitoba, I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba and my M.A. from Western. Returning to Western this year, I’m hoping to continue my PoW research to examine German PoW labour projects in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
